BLUE BULLY ULTRA

To our registered racers:

By now, you have been contacted by our Race Director by and email. We want to reach out and confirm the difficult news that we have made the decision to cancel this year’s Blue Bully race, scheduled for September 25–27, 2026.

This was not a decision we made lightly. After carefully reviewing the event’s viability and the realities of hosting it, we determined that we could not move forward while maintaining the level of safety and quality we are committed to providing our running community.

All registered racers will receive a full refund or deferral to another event. We already have confirmation from a number of people regarding their choice. If you have not decided, we would like to offer you the opportunity to transfer your entry to a distance of your choice at any other Sinister Sports event in 2026 or 2027. Your registration can be transferred toward another race of a similar distance, even if it is higher value, giving you a great discount on your next Sinister Sports event. (Unfortunately, this does not apply to Kids races, which will be fully refunded)

Our goal for nearly three decades has been to create opportunities for athletes of all levels at the most challenging and professionally run endurance events in Canada. That commitment has not changed, so if you would like to transfer your entry, we are happy to work with you to find an event and distance that suits you. Otherwise, you can simply accept the full refund. No action is required to receive your refund—it will be processed automatically.

Our heartfelt apologies for the disappointment and inconvenience this cancellation may cause, especially to those who have already made travel, accommodation, and other plans. If you already have accommodations booked, consider going anyway; it’s a great time to visit the Blue Mountains for your own adventures.

Thank you for your understanding, your support, and for believing in Blue Bully and the trail running community. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who registered, and while we’re sorry we won’t be seeing you on the trails at Blue Mountain this September, we hope to welcome you to another Sinister Sports event soon.
