HER QUEST isn't just a race. It's a quest for HEALTH. It's a quest for GROWTH. It's a quest for COMMUNITY. It's a quest to PUSH YOURSELF FARTHER.

HER QUEST is a women-only virtual race that is a place for women to come together and compete in a friendly atmosphere with other women. Outside of the race itself, a part of the focus is on supporting each other to be active, challenging each-other to go a little farther, and breaking down the obstacles that prevent women from getting into endurance running. There will be three virtual speaker sessions included with the race. The three non-race sessions will be recorded and available when you log in.

Categories:

There are podium awards for the top three women in each of the five distances. Additional prizes will be available, at random, for participants in the mother-daughter and sisters. We always have fun prizes for people who share photos and videos with us on social media during the event.

You will receive a custom buff and a handmade piece of jewelry. We also have lots of prizes for people who share lots of photos and videos on social media.

Michelle Parke - Community Chat

Monday, May 10th, 7:30pm MDT

Description: Part of the goal for HERQUEST is to engage with, and grow, your female running community. In this session, we’ll talk about how your “RunClub” community influences your goals and we’ll share some general tips about how to be successful as a female athlete. There will be lots of time for open discussion so bring your questions and personal tips to help us all rise up!

Michelle has been an athlete in a wide range of sports her whole life from NCAA soccer and track & field to WWCFL tackle football and now ultrarunning. After joining the Sinister Sports team early last year, she started the Facebook group ‘Newbie Jane Trail Women’ for females interested in starting the ultra training process. “I love helping others achieve their goals while working towards my own.”


Roxanne Moreau - Core & Glute Atrength

Description: Ultra-runner, coach, and owner of ‘Roxanne Moreau Fitness’ will be taking us through a 20 minute workout that will target your core & glutes in an effort to help you minimize the risk of injury! Roxanne will also be available afterwards to answer your questions.

She has been a fitness leader for 25 years inspiring, motivating and helping women take their power back through fitness. “I started running when my kids were small as a way to make my health and mental health a priority. Running truly set me free from eating disorders, depression and helped me see how strong and capable I am. I want to share the many gifts of fitness and running with everyone!” She has completed over 50 half marathons, a hand full of full marathons, five 50k ultras and this summer will be working towards her first 50-mile ultra finish at Sinister 7 Ultra

Join us for a live 20 minute pilates session followed by Q&A with Keri.
